Each member of GT can decide what they want to do with their banner for that board, if a person decides to add more characters that were optional, they're free to do that. If they have two different versions of a banner, they're free to submit both when the round closes. We then put all the banner options for the board in a poll and we vote on which we personally like best. If you have any more questions about our selection process, feel free to ask.

The Hawks may be important to the origins of the story however if the board is going to have the customisation for around lets say five years so hopefully five seasons what are the chances that the Hawks will still fit and be in all of them? For me including them will be like how Arrow has a character who was in season one and randomly appear in maybe one episode a season since then. It can make things feel outdated quicker. I am not going to tell anyone not to include it, that is just my opinion for characters who have a questionable status or you know are not going to return.

I actually pretty much agree with you. The Hawks are such a huge question mark because they weren't received well by most during Season 1, the writers admitted to not having no real story for them which is why they got dropped as series regular during Season 2, and we don't know when we will see them again, we just know that the showrunner recently mentioned that it's not the end for the Hawks and he wants to find a way to bring them back. I think text messages has gotten exchanged between the actors and showrunner from what I heard.

I really don't know.
We should probably put a poll up if we should included the Hawks or not at this point.

If we were to include the Hawks honestly it should just be Hawkgirl because of the lack of Hawkman that we saw So I personally saw leave them out because of what Rae said about how the banner could easily become out of date if they never return but if they were to return its really really too hard

My opinion leave it up to the GT members and they can work their magic

I do feel with the JSA that they should definitely return somehow this season. Hawks were a huge part of the JSA in the comics. So, I feel it'd be a letdown if they didn't but it's the NOT knowing what is the issue right now. lol

Yeah, seems like we have to just leave it up to the GT members.
I guess we can assume that the show will always add some new members each season, so probably the banner should have more than less? it already feels like the banner is going to get outdated early anyway.

I feel every season a new character will get added to the show. This year Citizen Steel and Vixen will be added and by like Season 4 (if it lasts that long), they might be huge characters to the show. lol

LoT is one of those shows where you really don't know...

Think we should keep those that were in the final scene of the finale minus Rex cause he 's new - so we know Rip/Mick/Ray/Sara/Stein and Jefferson will for sure be in the second season

We know that Wentworth will SOMEHOW be in LoT even if its a hot mess with his new contract - so I will CRY a river if he's not included in the banner

I think those are the major players cause I think the team will continue to change but those are the core players where Kendra has been traded out for Vixen and Carter is Citizen Steel

Well Leonard definitely should be on the show, he was a series regular during Season 1, and appeared in every episode and was confirmed to DEFINITELY be in Season 2 as a recurring character... which I won't spoil here but he's a key pert.

So, the for sure members are: Rip, Mick, Sara, Leonard, Firestorm (Jax and Stein) and Ray.
Those eight definitely need to be on the banner.

Leave it at that 8 cause I remember when we were doing BSG customization that its easiest to leave it under 10 characters (think it was 10 or maybe it was 9) but anything above is harder to do
