Well, that's because the Arrowverse started off with promise, but ended up being very poorly written. Arrow started going downhill after season 4, and The Flash went downhill after only season 3. I can't believe it's lasted this long. As for Legends of Tomorrow, in hindsight I think that entire show was a mistake.

Well, it's like anything else.

The more you get used to it, the easier it is to process the effects. Kind of like a stomach virus.
