Oh, so this is why Clark eventually gets a job at the Planet. Perry sees promise in his writing talent.

I've been saying for years that being a reporter isn't just a secret identity for Clark, it's something that he actually loves doing. He can do things as Clark Kent that he can't do as Superman. He can be the detective that Bruce Wayne is as Batman.

Tom Welling (Clark) and Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) are working together to try to get that Smallville animated series spinoff.

Nope... the Daily Planet is done very differently on this show. lol
