I actually wasn't too sad that Clark left only because he would've did it for anyone else.

If he was on a date with Lana, and he knew Chloe was in danger, he'd leave her as well!

I mean he recently left a date with Lana (this season) to help out Pete.

So, it's what he does which is why I can't feel sad.

That was a great episode! what a cliffhanger.

I think when I first watched that ending, I was thinking..."Will Lana finally learn Clark's abilities?"

Great episode, and my favorite from Season 1.

That's true and Chloe does understand why he did it and she doesn't blame him. But it was her biggest fear and it came true. That's what makes it so heartbreaking. If she hadn't been worried about him possibly leaving her, or with other words, if she would't have had problems with her self-esteem, it wouldn't have been that much of a deal but Chloe really didn't think she was good enough for Clark and being left alone at the dance didn't really help with that.

I can understand as a Chlark shipper while some would be upset but as a Clark fan, it's difficult to be because he would leavee everyone to save the other.

lol He doesn't have the disappearing acts for no reason. lol

I mean why do you think Lana stated a few episodes ago that Clark isn't there when you want him, but always when you need him. lol He always cancel dates and everything, the main issue is that no one knows his secret so it makes it difficult on them to think Clark just never keeps his word or anything...

thought that storyline was

Luthor fight that turns Lionel blind but even if Lex was fighting with him - he couldn't let his father die

Lionel is horrible to just shut down the smallville plant like that with absolutely no care for anybody. I liked seeing Lex try to speak up for the people losing their jobs!!

When Lex started talking nepotism and how he thinks they feel differently...the looks on their faces lol

Whitney's picnic for Lana is cute but asking her to wait for him is a bit much.
I love how excited Chloe and Clark are for the winter formal!!!

Someone just watched as Clark got out of the exploding truck.

Kind of annoyed at Chloe!!!! Clark asked her on a date and shes still not happy! Shes worried hes going to go chase Lana and leave her waiting at the dance.
Oh no, a cheek kiss.

Wow you can tell this episode is a season finale. So much happens in this episode!!!! My posts always seem so long...im only half way through. They didnt waste a moment in this ep.

Im posting my thoughts on this ep in 3 parts.

Lex really did an awesome thing trying to save all those jobs. He really is capable of doing good. Lionel has no problem ruining people's lives in his game with his son.

Whitney was quite delusional to think that their relationship was even remotely in a place where he could ask a 15 year old to wait for him? Seems selfish tbh.

Clark's face when the truck blew up like...damn there goes another truck.

Oh Chloe.. she knows he's not over Lana and that the only reason why he is taking her out is because he can't have Lana. Not a great position to be in. Especially knowing the biggest obstacle Whitney is leaving. But ya saying that he would leave her to go get Lana at the bus station.. is a little extreme Also if you notice with the cheek kiss they focus on Lana's reaction making it clear that this Chlark thing is more about making Lana jealous then it is about advancing that ship.
