I think I lost a little bit of that passion in the later seasons actually.

To be honest, I did feel, as some others, that Lois was introduced a bit early but I have come to love her now of course.

So I really need to start from S4 and re-watch from there to appreciate my love for Lois. There were storylines I didn't care for though, like the whole witch thing, and things I never really understood like Jason's mom's connection with the witches/supernatural so it'll be good to refresh my memory and I'll come ask you specific questions. lol

^ I felt Jason's turn to evil made zero sense to me and was way too rushed.
I always have a counter argument for people who say Lois was introduced to early because if that's the case, Lex was introduced way too early since they were not suppose to be friends and were suppose to meet when Clark becomes Superman....

Both Lois and Lex were both introduced early....

Smallville did everything different from how it was suppose to be and I think in the end it ended up working although in the series finale, they did that whole memory thing with Lex and stupid thing with Jimmy to match up the comic book storylines.

So, Smallville wanted to stick so much to the mythologies although they did do some things different but ultimately they would try to find a way to fix it.

Do you know during season 1-3, people thought Chloe was going to turn out to be Lois?

I remember people thought Chloe and Lois was one person.

I think because Chloe wasn't in the comics, so it confused everyone. I like originality and the unexpected. lol I am just slower to warm up to new characters. Lois has a big personality and I did get concerned she would take over the show and 'spotlight' from the other characters. I was young at the time. lol I was more of a fan of the quiet, humble type like Lana back in the day. How much things has changed. Ha! Although I love humble in a person, being quiet can be boring in a show. lol With Lex it was different for me I guess because he was around from episode 1 and I knew very little about Superman then. Ha!

Yeah, I think because Chloe wasn't in the comics and she sort of had Lois personality and background. Chloe loved investigating and she wanted to work for the Daily Planet and she was very outspoken. lol So, I guess I can sort of see why people would think that although I think the hair threw it off for me because I don't think Lois has ever been a blonde with the Chloe cut. lolol

So, it would've been a twist for her to turn out to be Lois.

Crazy thing is that Lois was only suppose to be in 4 episodes. lol 4x01 - 4x04..... however, she became instantly popular so she returned for 4x08, and they changed it to 13 episodes of season 4... and the rest is history.

I think it does make it a bit different, not knowing about the Superman history. lol If you did know of the Superman history, you probably would have not even liked Clark/Lex friendship as much because you would have thought Lex was going to betray Clark one day.

Oh yes, that is true.

With each re-watch, I am less and less loving Lex because now I know too much.

I like to go back to being naive.

I think that's why I also never accepted Lionel being good because he is not supposed to be good. So I was waiting for him to be evil again, knowing it will come sooner than later.

^When you think of it in the full picture, it wasn't sudden... if you really re-watch, he was obsessed with Clark Kent... like ...
