It felt like they were fearing that having her around would split the attention from Clark a bit, so I think they just got lost writing for her

^ Yup, I mentioned that a few weeks ago in a conversation with Ingrid.

I think it would've been easier to write for her if Clark was already Superman but it was more difficult since he was slowly working his way to it.

And considering she already could fly and had all his powers, I can see how it would've been a problem to keep her around him much... which is a shame because I really love her
