• Kristen Kreuk was the first person cast of the series as Lana Lang.
• The popular "Save Me" theme song artist is Remy Zero who actually appeared on the show during the season 1 season finale to sing the song for school dance.
• Erica Durance as Lois Lane was originally suppose to only appear o 4 episodes but became so popular that episodes kept on getting added.
• Lionel Luthor is the first character shown and with the line of the series, pretty remarkable since he was not originally suppose to be around that long but John Glover wonderful portrayal made him one of the most important characters of the series.

- Clark Kent
- Chloe Sullivan
- Lex Luthor

However, Tom Welling and Allison Mack are the only 2 cast members to appear in all 10 seasons.

• Chloe was NOT in the comics before Smallville, she was invented for the show. She became so popular that she got added to the comics in 2010.
  
• Jensen Ackles auditioned for Clark Kent, he did not get the role but he was later casted in season 4 as Jason Teague. However, if Tom Welling did not accept the role, Jensen would have been our Clark Kent.
  
• Season 8-10 has different showrunners from the ones in season 1-7. Don't worry, it was much needed.
  
• Smallville has the record for the highest-rated series debut premiere with 8.3 million totally viewers for the Pilot 1x01.
  
• 2x07 "Lineage" is the highest rated episode of the series.
  
• All 10 seasons of Smallville are streaming on Hulu.
