^ The most damage was definitely Arrow because, unlike Arrow. It was never promoted for Dinah to be the main one nor was Oliver never planned to be an original at first and Dinah definitely wasn't whereas Arrow built it to be Oliver and Laurel however the writers gave them a terrible backstory where he cheated on her with her sister and Katie and Stephen had anti!chemistry for the romance side. Then they brought Sara Lance in at season 2 as Black Canary and she ended up having terrific chemistry with Amell... come on now. lol She had the chemistry, charisma, and backstory that was missing with Laurel....
So you know I can't even fully blame Smallville for what happened on Arrow because Arrow did plan Oliver/Laurel but then they changed their plans when it wasn't connecting with the audience at all and by season 2, they gave up. Oliver/Sara and especially Oliver/Felicity were way popular... there was no way around that one. I like Katie Cassidy and I love Caity as Sara but how different things would've been if Laurel was never in season 1 and she was introduced in season 2 portrayed by Caity?  Jus Saying...Now back to Justin as Oliver - I am still impressed when he wins polls as the fav Oliver. I always assume by now that Amell will win by a landslide so it's nice to still see his version get respected with the people with short-term memory. Hartley talked about his popularity as Oliver,

Im personally a big fan of OliverღLaurel cant stand oliver and felicity. I think the writers gave up way too soon. Imo Justin's oliver is better than stephen Amells.
