The Canadian Screen Awards will get a triple shot of B.C.-grown star power when gal pals Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk and Laura Vandervoort roll up together for the Toronto ceremony.

"We'll do a girls' night and have some fun," says Durance, nominated as best actress in a series for her role in the Toronto-filmed medical drama Saving Hope. She's also going to be a presenter at the awards.

She's making a night of it with her former Smallville co-stars Kreuk, who is also presenting at the awards, and Vandervoort.

"It's fun as a girl getting a chance to glam it up," says Durance, who still lives in B.C. when she's not filming. "Especially after this show that I'm doing, where I'm in hospital scrubs and there's no glamour whatsoever. It's nice to have a night where we kick up our heels."

Durance played Lois Lane on the long-running Smallville, while Kreuk played Lana Lang and Vandervoort played Supergirl. The trio's reunion will be a comic-geek mind blower at the awards show.

Durance's husband, fellow actor and teacher David Palffy, has the job of squiring the three around. Durance spoke on the phone last week when she was still figuring out what to wear. "I always have nerves," she says of her presenter duties. "Luckily, we get to practice. I just make sure to wear shoes that I won't trip over."

The second season of Saving Hope starts filming 18 episodes this month.

Just coming here to post something if anyone had known. It's very sad about his loss. I loved his role as Victor/Cyborg and I liked him on the Famous Jett Jackson during jr. high and high school and followed him on Rizzoli and Isles. Very sad news. Prayers and thoughts are with his loved ones.

OMG just saw the news as I logged on to my facebook a few seconds ago.

Such tragic news!

Of course I will always remember him for his major roles:

-The Famous Jett Jackson (which I was obsessed with when it was during my youth).

-Victor Stone/Cyborg (when I found out he was going to be on it I remember being so stoked)

-Detective Frost (Seeing him on Rizzoli & Isles just really made Tuesdays)

I'm just so frustrated that [if it's true] that he committed suicide. I wish he could've spoken to somebody, or something about the pain he was going through.
It's just a mystery. I enjoyed the Actor... and most definitely loved him on Smallville as Cyborg.

You just never truly know what's going on with someone.

The only news I read are that the Smallville Comic is coming to a close which I think is sad.
