They really are. Also makes me wonder at times what if they both lived? Then of course, Harry's life won't be as dramatic as it is. Or supposing they'd die when he's in Hogwarts? That'll be so sad.

Yeah that would have been really sad. I think Harry's life would have been harder if possible.

I thought it might be worse because he would have known his parents so the lost would have been greater.

His life will be definitely easier and less dramatic but happy. With his parent's death, he has something worth fighting for. All he has are pictures to remember them by. He was too young to have memories and he grew up to be a brave kid because of that. If anything, J/L has "raised" a good kid. Many other kids wouldn't even bother or go down the hard route.

^ That's true, they really helped Harry during his journey, because he had something to fight for.
And I like to think that James and Lily wouldn't die later if they hadn't died on that Halloween night. I don't know, it's just too depressing to think that the same horrible thing would happen, if things were a little different. __________________

It really is horrible and if they died later, it would be harder because the more Harry can recall of that horrible night and can understand, then it's worse. So if it's any consolation it was better that Harry was a baby when his parents died rather than have him be older and just remember everything in his mind.
