Ron being Ron. There were so many instances in the books that he could just tell her but he didn't.

Also Ron is self-conscious, May be he doesn't want to tell her because he is doubtful of her feelings towards him. He sometimes think she may prefer Harry to him.

He does and Ron has a lot of insecurities too. I do like that they got together towards the end and not early on because I think they would've broken up if they got together during their early years at Hogwarts.

Nice art

I agree with you guys, I'm sure Ron doubted Hermione's love to him asking himself why she would choose him instead of the famous brave Harry Potter and the incredible Quidditch player Victor Krum or any other guys because he's never saw his advantages, he always focuses on his weaknesses. And that also makes him nervous moody and sometimes aggressive.
