Yeah, the book and the movie R/Hr scenes where very different in HBP. Personally, I love the book version better. It is not cheesy or overdramatic, it just comes naturally. It is still Ron who is in love with Hermione, but thinks she doesn't love him back, she is always on his mind and so he whispers her name while no one seems to notice that as usual. And Hermione also feels so much for him, but cannot bring herself to tell him about it or show him how she feels. They get angry at each other, they are jealus, they support each other, they are just being themselves. I think the movie didn't quite manage to make it look as natural and in character as it was in the book. Ron was rather close to his book version in HBP, but movie Hermione always acts rather differently, which is a shame.

"I love you" is probably my fave R/Hr HBP moment from both book and the movie. It is so Ron He doesn't even think about what he says, he just says what he thinks and what he feels.

I thought HBP!film was ****. The last scene still makes me want to vomit. Nothing beats GoF though.

Really? I thought that Ron's characterization was a bit off in the film...

As for the ending, I think they deleted some of the dialogue that would have implied R/Hr to set up for DH1, where Ron is feeling left out. Don't get me wrong, I didn't like the ending either. I just think it might have been a set up for the future.

Oh, and as for the day dream fic... I think I read it on Checkmated? But I am not positive...

Ah Checkmated, I live on that site.....quite literally hahah, and I have read such 'daydreampotion' fics on there. Some were rather.....spicy if you get my point hahah.

Also I have to agree on the fact that movie!Hermione was a bit off in the HBP film, Movie!Ron was brilliant though. Then again I don't give a whole bunch about the HBP film to begin with, I Love the RHr bits though but overall it wasn't a very good movie in my opinion. My faves still are COS and GOF

Haha. Yes they can be. I found the fic, and it was spicier than I remembered. It's called Just My Imagination on CM. I had to read a lot of R/Hr fics to find it... but I didn't mind at all.

Just curious... What did you all find off about Hermione's characterizations? I loved movie!Ron, but I thought his characterization was a bit off because he just didn't seem as into Hermione as he should have been.
