August 21st (Friday) to commemorate the assassination of a former senator. His death led to the downfall of the dictator ruling our country that time. I was already alive when that happened but was too young to know what was going on. And August 31st (Monday) is like our version of your Veteran's Day. The 21st is with no pay, the 31st is with pay.

I wonder if we'll even get Halloween parties this year? I bought my dog an outfit for Halloween earlier this year and we might not get to celebrate it.

I doubt it. We still have cases here and our hospitals are starting to get overloaded already.

We're still on "phase 3" until the 31st. If the cases went down in 2 weeks time, we'll move to your version of phase 4.
