There are so many good drawings of Snape by the fans. And the drawings are always angsty though which is understandable.

I really think Snape's story is my favorite amongst all the other adult characters. The fact that he's an anti-hero, so to speak, is what makes him interesting.

At first I thought he was that scary teacher that we're all not fond of. But as we read more books, you kind of wonder why he is that way and ultimately you want to believe he has a good side because he's a Hogwarts professor.

In HBP, I know after I read that Snape killed Dumbledore, I was like "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG". I couldn't believe it. And it wasn't until DH that everything made sense.

I know! I feel conflicted because while Snape is a Death Eater, I wouldn't think he'd kill Dumbledore that easily. I was shocked in HBP. That became my favorite book for a long time until DH.

There's a level of understanding and trust between Snape & Dumbledore that no matter what, they will both protect Harry.
