I guess it's both Ootp and HBP but to be more definitive, It's HBP as we saw different situations where Ginny or Luna spoke highly and friendly of each other.

Right. They became more friendly towards her even Ron and Hermione who were basically rejecting her ideas or the way she's thinking. And I'm proud to say that Ginny was the very first to approach her and befriend her.

Awesome moment! I think Ginny's used to being independent what with her having older brothers. But that moment there was nice because it was Luna and it's like it's okay with her.

Exactly. Ginny used to depend on herself since she was a kid because that's what you do when you grow up with boys. You must be just as strong as they are. However, when she actually did need support, she reached out for Luna. Her best friend.

I don't have older brothers so I don't know how it's like but I can imagine being overwhelmed as they can get protective of their younger sister too.
I'm really glad that Ginny & Luna ended up as good friends because personally I think they're both got personalities that really blend well together. They've been nice to each other and always supportive. And also, Harry & Ginny named one of their children after Luna which is really very nice of them. __________________

i do feel for Ginny because I've an older brother so I know what it's like
 and Ginny doesn't only have one or 2 but 6 big brothers including Fred and George. Oh! God.Do you think She's Luna's Godmother as well? I guess yes since Ron and Hermione are the godparents of James and Neville's godfather of Al so why Luna is not Lily's godmother ..__________________

The Potters will invite them regularly for dinner or even to travel together somewhere. Remember, When at the epilogue Ginny asked her son James to give her love to Neville.
I'm so glad they kept in touch even after having families of their own. __________________
