I finally saw DH2 on Tuesday and am still working through all my impressions of the different scenes.
I really liked how Luna was presented for the most part! Talking about how Muggles believe that wind chimes ward off evil was very Luna-ish, and that romper she was wearing at Shell Cottage was TOTALLY something Luna would wear! I'm also glad that she was the one to remember the diadem, just like she was in the book.The only time she seemed OOC to me was when she yelled at Harry on the staircase. That part seemed really off. Don't get me wrong, it was funny and all. But to be honest, is it really something Luna would do? __________________

Oh, that's interesting! Thanks for sharing that, ladies. Yeah, it was the one and only moment in the movie where Luna didn't seem like Luna. But then, maybe her years of friendship with feisty Ginny had some influence on her and she decided to take a page out of Ginny's book!

I honestly don't find the "You listen to me, Harry Potter!" moment very out of character. Of course, it is not a canon moment but it is impossible to keep everything like in canon. I think it was not even about Luna, but a fact that Harry actually listened to her when she told him to. People never seemed to be able to make him listen when he wasn't about to do it, but Luna wasn't like other people, she knows how to make things go her way without really trying
