Yeah, true that.. I think that Snape resent Harry's father for treating him and I don't think that he ever got over his bullying which I get that, but I get that Snape had to act that to be double agent..

He only did that because of his love for Lily and never really for James. And I think it doesn't matter what his intentions were as long as Harry is protected. Snape just didn't go about it the right way with Harry.

Yup and probably past curfew too that the Head Boy or Girl catches them and tells them to go back to their common rooms.
