Steph, but mostly it's hot over there right? How long does summer last there, until September? Also what's usually the weather when it's fall? Is it still hot or it's a bit chilly?

Well, it mostly hot/humid during June-Aug or sometimes to late Sept then it start to get cool in Oct to chilly in Nov..

Dave, I hate walking in the rain too cause my shoes and clothes get all wet & soggy and it's such a hassle.

Steph, work doesn't get cancelled here when there's a huge storm but we are allowed not to go to work and use up or Emergency Leave which is only 1 for an entire year.

If we don't use it, it's convertible to cash and credited to salary at the end of the year.

I used to be a teacher. I think it's still 15 days generally for teachers to call off during a school year... they don't get credited until they retire

For me, as long my client's parent said it's okay for me to come or not when it comes to snow storm since it's more on their safety even tho that mean, I have to do the makeup hours..
