It's that expensive and no, I never try it since I never get to invite by my family bec that time, I was working.. Plus I refuse to spend money on that..

Ah I see. I got exposed to Japanese food really late, like college because we have a cheap Japanese resto inside campus. That's also how I learned to use the chopsticks.

If you want to learn, practice with those wooden chopsticks so you can grip them firmly vs those metal or plastic ones they serve at restaurants because they'll slide off your fingers if you use them. You can start with thinly sliced meat and a small portion of rice all mixed into a bowl.

Luckily, Japanese food don't require that much chopsticks and the proper way to eat them is actually just by holding them and putting them in your mouth, no chopsticks needed (sushi is an example). It's just that lots of people use chopsticks because they don't want the sticky texture on their fingers.

And it depend on restaurant bec not all of them offer them for that..

Bec at least we mentioned about food for each house..
