I think so. Jacob already knows Hicks when they met and it looks like she's always there to convince Jacob to go with her to help find Queenie.

Yeah that was the feeling I got when I watched that scene, that Hicks was always there convincing Jacob to go with her and it wasn't until that day he finally caved in.

Yes let me know if that was how it was for you. Hicks wasn't some stranger to Jacob the way they were talking in that beginning scene which means she went back numerous times to try and convince Jacob to go with her.

True but like did he know she was a Witch? I feel he did but he was surprised when she got into his bakery

If she's been there numerous times then yes, he know she's a witch. Because if that was their first meeting, then Jacob was pretty easy to convince.

Ok so watched the scene I think he knew she was a Witch but only one they showed him I gather other wizards/witches have been asking him to join but he said no

Yep, I got that feeling too. That part where Hicks set him up (since he knows those other men) was all her plan to lure Jacob again so she can convince him. I feel like she's tried before but always failed.

It also seems to me that Newt & Jacob rarely talked because Jacob was distancing himself from what happened with Queenie. That's why Newt was so happy to see him when he finally came.
