I love the films, but there's plenty of room in the HP sandbox for more than one take on adapting the books, so I say "bring it on".

One specific thing I'd like to see: get Jack Thorne involved.

He's already proven that he knows how to successfully adapt YA Fantasy for TV with His Dark Materials and is someone that JKR has had a good working relationship with in the past.

Hogwarts legacy is amazing play it none stop

The hbo series I hope rheybdo ir well cause this book has so much detail that the movies didn't include
DigificWriter i agree exspeally for the later books when it gets super dark its needed we need a good producer to do it.. God how are we up to this point when they are doing a reboot already I remember getting the news about the movies abd being excited by that from the books ..

But But they need the original soundtrack music

None of the film composers, actors, or production crew are going to realistically 'step down' to do a TV series, even one made by HBO, so whatever we get is likely going to be - and should be - very different, aesthetically, from the films.

To that end, here's my ideal Production Team for the show:
JKR - Producer
Jack Thorne - Showrunner/Head Writer
Composer - Pinak Topra or Segun Agnola
Production Designer - John Janavs
Costume Designer - Ariel Boroff
Set Decorator - Heidi Miller
Art Director - Robert Frye
Casting Director - John Frank Levey and Melanie Burgess

Note: I picked Janavs, Miller, and Frye because of their roles in the production of Hogwarts Tournament of Houses, which, despite not trying to 'reinvent the wheel' as far as design goes, did showcase how you could do the Wizarding World - or at least parts of it - on a TV-scale budget.
