I think if Johnny stayed on, he would still do a good job plus we won't have any comparison for Grindelwald.

We felt this way for Mads because we had 2 Grindelwalds. This is kind of like Richard Harris & Michael Gambon for Dumbledore.

Yes Richard Harris was so good.

Some of my favorite scenes from this movie are the flashbacks.

I mean idk he was an ok but to me he wasn't acting as someone who would lead or you would want to follow where as Mads did seem that way

I remember saying about Johnny after seeing part 3 that his acting reminded me of his famous POTC character Capt. Jack. Even his British accent in the movie sounded like it was Capt. Jack to me.

I felt like in that movie, Johnny did amazing job while this role that Mads did better.. Not sure if that made sense..
