It's not REALLY a war. But the members of some ships are very sensitive at the moment. I really just posted this to make sure all the commotion and trouble is not going to lead to a shipper war.

True, shipper wars never made much sense to me. Sure, there are couples I just hate and "couples" I just don't get. But, I don't think I'd ever go up to a fan of one and tell them anything rude about the couple. But, I can see why people are more sensitive at the moment. I mean, HBP And I know that those characters have some pretty huge 'ships with other characters.

I know! It's so downright rude to just go up to a fan who ships a certain couple (even if I couldn't stand that ship) and just diss them!

I think Ginny will have a hard time fighting for Draco 'cause Harry won't give up on him without a fight. Poor Myrtle, she deserved a chance too.

I like that D/G can be my fanon obsession and H/G can be my book ship. That's one good thing about fanfics is that you can always find one that has what you want.

Pavi-True, so true. I could almost like H/G in the books, but I think I'll be more into D/G, even though they have a 1% chance in the books. At least the books have other ships I like. As for fanon, you can really find any ship in fics. The other day, I came across a rather strange Harry/Dumbledore fic that was slightly scary and twisted. Who knew Dumbledore was a dirty old man with twisted thoughts? Ew.

Mia-Yeah, I agree. The really great thing about books is that you can pretty much make your own fanon things when you finish the book(s). Add your own 'missing scenes' or 'what happened after ward'. It's not the same as, say, tv or anything.
