No idea but Chris Gage seems to really like Spuffy together.

The show writers & Comic writers.

Spuffy was the endgame the show writers wanted Season 7.

Fury wanting Angel to end with him giving Spike the Shansu to be Buffy.

We just have Joss that you never know though I truly think most of what he said about loving both Spuffy & Bangel at EW Reunion wasn't really the full truth.

Not when this is the first time in years he said anything positive about Bangel.

He crapped on them in the Comics.

He describes Spike as the long haul guy even at EW Reunion.

Joss sees such huge meaning of Spike getting a soul.

He hated Romeo/Juliet & Twilight.

He called Angel Romeo.

Joss never explains why Bangel should even be together.

Just that they are a grand romance.

He picked Spike as the guy for Buffy asked between Angel Riley & Spike.

Joss even talking about Chosen called Spike the man in Buffy's life.

Joss said Bangel were boring to him by Season 3 & the char. couldn't evolve anymore together.

Joss even talking about Chosen called Spike the man in Buffy's life.

Spuffy relationship are written well in the Comics.

Bangel really such a joke.

Buffy basically picked Spike over Angel already when he came to town finding out about Spuffy.

Buffy even told Spike Angel was her past in the Comics.

Buffy chose Spike as her champion over Angel on the show.

She told him Spike was in her heart.

Buffy chose Spike even over Angel in Chosen.

The entire Bangel reunion was mostly about Spike & Buffy's feelings for him.

The same issues from Season 3 that broke up Bangel didn't Spuffy in the Comics.

Buffy said No ect. & wouldn't let Spike go & he actually cared about what she wanted.

Like in First Date Season 7.

I really am too b/c this is Joss after all.



I mean we know how he thinks & even part of the reason he gave the green light for Spuffy in the Comics is b/c it would make Buffy uncomfortable. I think he meant in a type of relationship she has never been in b/c that's how it turned out to me. I think it sounded not so good with those words. So Buffy wasn't used to what she & Spike became at all. They had to fight for their love & Buffy certainly fought for it & didn't let Spike walk away unlike the other men in her life when they thought they knew what was best for her & didn't care at all about what she wanted.

I think basically in the Comics they took Spuffy to the next level they would have gotten to on their own sooner if Spike hadn't died saving the world. It seemed headed somewhere good for them a healthy adult relationship.

I remember that "Uncomfortable" thing and it was thrown out of context.
It means that being with Spike is throwing her into situations that she normally doesnt like to tackle.

Thats what season 10 was all about.
When things got a bit tougher, Buffys first instinct was to run because of her past relationships...but she overcome this.
She did things that felt "Uncomfortable" in the sense that she was afraid it would backfire.

I think its a sure thing to assume they would have been together after season 7 if Spike wouldnt have "died".
Season 10 was when Spike fully returned to the Scoobies and then it was just a matter of a few months until Buffy wanted to give her and Spike a second chance.

Oh yeah, 100% if Spike hadn’t have “died” in the finale he and Buffy would 100% be together afterwards. I believe that. Buffy was even trying to suggest it to him at one point and spike cut her off with the whole “let’s go be heroes.”

Buffy was gonna say maybe when the battle was over that they would fig. thing out between them.

Buffy didn't want mixed signal anymore just to finally talk their relationship.

They just had such bad timing.

I don't think Buffy would have given the cookie dough speech to Spike.
