Hey Tee.

I think it was just his humanity and loving Buffy brought it out.
Spike and Buffy have beautiful moments together as their relationship blossoms. It's not quite what Buffy and Angel were. It's not quite what Spike and Buffy were... It's something else, something special -- David Fury  __________________

David Fury pitched an ending to Joss for Angel, in which Angel wins the Shanshu and then "gives" it to Spike. This enrages Spike as not only doesn't he want it but he hates that Angel gives it to him, even though he could now go to be with Buffy.
He thinks Buffy was in love with Spike by the end of Season 7. Perfect. It reminds me of Dawson letting Joey go. __________________

I don't know maybe.
Joss wanted the show to continue in the Comics though. Angel didn't get a real ending. Like everything wasn't wrapped up but neither was Buffy. I can't see Joss giving Spuffy or Bangel endgame.  __________________

Angel?
I still think the thing about him having an angelic face never fit. He looked nothing like an Angel does. Spike actually fits more with his face.  __________________
