She's not teenage Willow anymore. She's in her mid twenties and the most powerful witch on the planet. And she restored his soul in AtS s4 and worked with him on a mission in the AtS comics. He really hurt Buffy in s8 but his intentions were good and he's been genuinely trying to make amends ever since. Including spending a year trying to resurrect Giles which he was mostly successful on.
Willow can't throw stones when she herself started an apocalypse in BtVS s6. Quote:
