I'm not that shocked by it. Dawn did have a huge crush on him in the past. Plus for Xander it's like the closest he will get to being with Buffy.

I'm really sorry Hubby.
 Just use headcanon. That's one thing I do like about BTVS/ATS is anything is possible. Like with Cangel mine is that TBTB saw how lost he was without her. So they sent her back to guide him again but the visions wouldn't hurt her and she wouldn't have depression from Heaven. Cordy couldn't help Angel if she was screwed up going through that. Angel even told her that he was lost without her.   I think that it was pretty obvious since he started running an Evil law firm.:lo: I know he told himself he could make things better but he never really got to be in charge. It was always the Seniors partners in the end. I don't like Angel and Faith as anything but UC. The comics would make more sense to have Cordy with him instead. __________________
