though i consider myself as a huge Bangel fan, i have to admit that there were times before that i squeed for cangel moments. I had watched Ats first before i watched btvs (S1-S3) so that means Ats characters hold my heart the most (excluding for 2 blondie vamps who were mistakently inserted in Season 5
 ) ...anyway, i love cangel's friendship. If only the writers didn't destroy cordy's character in season 4 and if they found other way to develop their story as a couple, i might have choose them over B/A.   ..anyway, past is past and i don't regret cheering for B/A and putting them as my #1 couple in whedonverse!  ...nevertheless, i'm deeply sadden by the lack of appreciation for cordy & angel relationship. I mean, compared to other couples in the verse, this one is probably the healthiest and safest relationship i've seen. And CC and DB has a unique chemistry too. Too bad, only few people see that. Besides, IMO cordy's character is probably one ingenious char ever created in the series. But, what the writers did to her in season 4 was literally cause pain in my heart. Adding injury to the wound was her exclusion in Season 5. I didn't know what convinced joss to think that cordy's snarky remarks and quirky personality could be replaced by anyone? two foolish vamps in S5 remained fools in my eyes. But cordy could be so funny in many ways without looking as a fool. just saying! don't shoot me |

if only cordy didn't die, i would love to see their friendship continues.
...eventhough i truly believe that Buffy is the ONE girl he wanted to be with, and the ultimate ONE he should be with, i can't just discard the fact that Angel really needed cordy in his fight for redemption. She's not just a seer for him, she's his guide. Without her, he really was lost. I agree wholeheartedly when he said it in "Your Welcome"  NOt because i thought he got over buffy, but because he just simply stated a fact that he's REALLY LOST without her. |

Thats my fave too in s5. The only bright spot, in fact. It was not because cordy died, but how she died and how fans like me realize how important she is not only for angel but also for the whole angel inc. It's nice to see the old gang once more!

It's a show completely different from btvs. And to put that blondie vamp there because joss was excited to develop a "bromance" and to heighten up a love triangle was for me, a very disappointing move. ..if i would like angel to be with a man, hey, i'd rather him be with lindsey! sorry for the rant, I'm still hurt whenever i remember Season 5. I hope i'm not too obvious that i'm still bitter about it |
