So you are thinking they don't have enough clout and know-how to get their agenda through?
So, on the right there isn't any new party? No need I guess though, with the "center left" making such an extreme right turn as they have in most countries over the last few decades. Who needs enemies when you have friends like that? |

I really dontknow what will happen at this point but I think there wont be a right answer
And yep, no new party. Also you are right, no need for it. Its so common in whole Europe nowadays the turn to right. |

It baffles me. Haven't people had enough public austerity and corporate raiding yet to see what a horrible idea too much right wing politics is?

It absolutely is not. But even so called labor parties seem to be under the delusion that it will If this is not enough, what will it take to break the spell?

It benefits the financiers and international corporations. and clearly, they are anxious to perpetuate their advantage, since they're working to pass treaties that will make sure any public services they can get their hands on will be their forever.

Well, yes. Stupid money.
But regular people, what do they have to protect so they vote for those? It's just, dunno, I don't get it. You know the other drill in this, at least here? Everytime there is a new political party in power, they change the educational system. It's really stupid. It's more money that families have to spend in books and money spent on adapting schedules and so on, and it's not needed. It's not as if history or science are changing every four years :/ |

Yeah we have that too not the monetary issue - school is fully public funded, but the frustration over a new administration always having their own educational agenda. With kids being put through various exercises that have only loose connection to learning and new tests added for every new school reform

Ugh yes. Really frustrating. And annoying. They dont care about education. They only care about being different than previous ones.

The odd thing is... I think they actually do care. A lot. They just dont have a clue And arent willing to listen to people who might know a thing or two either.

Well, I think they care about control, about power, but not actual education :/

I'm not sure about that. I'm wondering if it's a poisonous mix of arrogance and ignorance. That they alone know how it's best done, even when they dont, and no one else is worthy of being asked. And then they need all that control to know that their "masterplan" is actually carried out.

It really is. But it's just as the saying goes. "power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely."
