Hey thanks for coming here!
I find so cool that the universe is the same and the OG characters exist somewhere alse as I watch the new episodes. I sometimes wonder what they're doing now!

I did see a scene or two of Eleanor and Cyrus with Dorota, Vanya, and Ana. And I was really happy to see them all together.

Same! Especially Cyrus, I liked him a lot in the show. I liked that they made him say "not enough" it was nice also Eleanor saying where Blair was. In general them interacting with the new characters made everything more "gathered", if you get what I mean.

I didn't like Vanya and Dorota's daughter though her parents though

They are! I like that they got along so well with the new cast

Nelly Yuki had a fun line, because she recognized in a bat of an eye the costume one of the characters was wearing in the episode she was in: "who are you, Chuck Bass?"

This was her, she's now an editor at Condé nast or something like that, I don't remember. Also it seems Dan is a novelist now. Blair is in Paris with Chuck and Henry, no more news about the rest, but hopefully in S2 we'll have some.




Georgina's son was an icon like his mother, he was awesome and we saw that Georgina has a picture of Blair on a wall at her house, which is pretty fun.
Safran said more bigger guests will appear in S2, I'm curious.



I wasn't because I liked it that much, but honestly I don't know why I watched it until the end, I guess there was some kind of spell My fav season is the first, I even have the DVDs! Then I liked moments of S3 because of my ship and then it wasn't much enjoyable for me, anymore. But it made me fall in love with NYC and more interested in fashion. I remember I started watching it because I kept seeing CB pictures everywhere (it was during S2), so I decided to give it a try to know who this couple was.



What's your favorite season, folks? Do you have one or more?

S1. That pre-Writers Strike core episodes were amazing.

I honestly never finished. Cece died and I peaced out. I saw a few Blair scenes post. I watched the Blair/Chuck wedding. That's pretty much it.

I have like 30+ fics up. So many just go AU with the Snowflake Ball/Bart's "death." I hate all the Bass retcon.

I didn't know there was a strike, but maybe it's because I started watching when S2 had already aired in the US. I followed the US programming with S3. S1 for me has perfect combination of teen drama and soapy stuff. It's balanced and all the characters have the same relevance. Fun fact: the pilot is almost 100% first book faithful.

I also had forgotten Cece died when did it happen? My memory is SO BAD, like I barely remember 80% of this show. I watched all seasons, but I remember mostly just NS stuff, like their scenes were the first thing I checked and then I watched the whole episode.

HBO Max has also the OG series, though, so if you want to finish it, you canb find it there. It seems that when the reboot premiered, there was a surge in views for the original series as well.

The Bart retcon do you mean the whole Bart being mean towards Chuck? And the fake death? That was kinda bad, yeah.

I miss my ship, not the show itself Most of the times after the episodes I was like what did I just watched it's interesting how it managed to become such an iconic and cult show despite its flaws.

I only watched the show because I read the books back in like... 2003. Blair was my love. Still is.

I want to say at or around episode 100, mid season 5.

When it comes to the Basses, it's basically everything from the Snowflake Ball in S2. They retconned his mother. I hate it. Then bringing back Bart to be the evil. Ugh.

I have the show on DVD. Maybe one day I'll try again.
