Unpopular opinion but I think Rory is more of a Chris than she is lorelai.

Very well said. The cheating IS indefensible, but what I took away from all of that is the deep love they both have for each other. Rory needs to get her crap together and figure her life out and not drag/string Logan along in the meantime. I have no doubt he'd drop everything to be with her if she asked but I believe she needs to set out on her own and be strong independently before taking on another relationship. Besides, I think with a child on the way she will regain her independence as well as learn to focus on providing for the child as well as herself.

I think Rory isn't more of one or the other, I think she's a balance of both Chris AND Lorelai.

I have never believed Rory was a carbon copy of lorelai. While Chris is immature and childish, he isn't evil. Chris is very passive and i have seen a lot of passivity in Rory. Rory also has trouble standing up for herself which is something she shares with her father. Like Jen said I th I she has a bit of both in her. But more than anything she is her own person. I do think that her Chris like qualities are why she allowed herself to flounder in the revival.

Interesting observation. I can see rory being more like christopher. I think she is definitely a mix of both christopher and lorelai
