I love Sookie's perpetual cheeriness (for the most part)! It adds a lot to the show and I adored her friendship with Lorelai.

I agree with you, Jen.
It is sad about the show, but I am sure that Melissa will have a lot of projects to fill in that gap. If not with projects that are offered her, with ones that she and Ben create. |

Which reminds me I still have to see Spy! My parents said it was really funny. They always refer to Melissa as "Sookie" when they're referring to a film she's been in.

It's her delivery that sells it IMO. She's a natural comedian, you can't help but laugh at some of the silliness that comes out of her mouth.
I do miss her as Sookie, though, I loved that they had her play both drama and comedy in GG.__________________
