It's a series that continues on from TMD movies. Lauren plays the mom to a kid who is is kicked off TMD team, so they start a new team for kids who aren't "good enough" to be with TMD.

There were contract issues or something and so, he's not returning for season 2. But it does appear to be going ahead still without him, according to what I've read.

Yesterday I read a review on the GG revival and man, this went sooo bad for Lauren

The person was complaining that you wouldn't see any facial expression on Lauren's face anymore after all her surgeries
