Lorelai is fabulous. She has besn through alot, yet she always manages to be so bubbly and tries her best with everything.
I cant wait to see how her love life develops as I go along watching it

If there will be another season, what would be Lorelai's story?

I mean Lorelai was the main character of original series. Now she is happily married with Luke. Would she be just a grandmother of Rory's child?

Why would Lauren Graham want such a role? She is still young for the role of grandmother (almost the same age as Jennifer Aniston,who still has romantic roles) and as a result of role of Lorelai Lauren might be typecast as grandmother in other films/series.

Any thoughts?

I think they could have Lorelai sick. That would add weighty material for all 4 main characters/actors.

I think there are still some unresolved issues with Emily, who is getting older and might start ailing. There is the Dragonfly. The expansion or something causing her to travel. There's April, who might play a bigger part after getting in trouble for smoking pot. The whole grandmother thing is definitely something that will cause her to look at her life, at Rory's life and at her relationship with her own mother. She may be happily married now but that does not mean they are all lovey dovey and don't have any more conflicts.

She'd want it, because it's Lorelai Gilmore.

I doubt Lauren will be cast as a grandmother now. That's crazy. Especially since she hasn't even played one. Yet.

Could Lorelai be pregnant? Would it be weird?

This is a true story. My old neighbor had her (fourth) child at the age of 48. She didn't think, that she could have still had kids. So she thought, that she was ill. But she was pregnant. Her youngest daughter is 40 years old today.

Oh, I think there's plenty of story left to tell for Lorelai, no matter how happy she is in her marriage with Luke. Luke's personality is one which will always probably butt up against Lorelai's eternal optimism. Yes, ASP could have her ill, but I don't see ASP as being quite that melodramatic? However, illness IS something that comes with age. I know because I'm dealing with it myself at the moment.

I haven't seen Middle School yet but it's in my Netflix queue already.

I think there is more story to tell too. I don't see them having Lorelai be pregnant though. That wouldn't make sense for LL at this point.

I guess Lorelai could get pregnant, but I've always felt that it would have been weird now. In the original series, definitely. But not anymore. Imagine that. Lorelai and Rory pregnant at the same time? That would just be weird and creepy.
