We very rarely saw Luke smile so that was nice to see.

Of course she would go to Luke for comfort and understanding. Could you imagine Jason’s reaction?

Luke is who she feels safe opening up to. He was being a partner to her without actually being her partner.

He absolutely was. Everyone makes mistakes but it's how we learn from them and how we are in the good moments that matter. Luke has proven over and over just what an amazing partner he is to Lorelai and how much he loves her.

I will never get over Lorelai walking away. I understand she was being thoughtful because he had been asleep and he had to get up early, but she really looked like she wanted to jump his bones.
