Going into the show, I knew they were a thing, but I didn't expect to get quite so captured by them.... from the first moment. Lierally that first scene I was like.... okay, I'm hooked. They've got me. Hello new OTP! Definitely the greatest slow burn couple and where we actually get payoff. Ahhh, I just love them.

Yeah, I am a sucker for the friends to lovers, slow-burn with mutual pining trope. Really, it was inevitable I would fall for them. But yeah, the main thing I think that makes them so damn good is that strong friendship they have. They had it there, pre-show, but we as viewers, got to see it get stronger and then develop into something more. Their journey is such a joy to watch, imo, from a shippers' perspective. Problems and everything.

The build up to them finally happening at the end of season 4 imo, is one of the greatest build ups to a ship in TV history. It's so well executed and the payoff is worth those 4 years of leading to it.
