Yes! And how he said that Rachel is no longer Luke's soulmate that he once perhaps thought she was, because it's now Lorelai - she now has that place in his heart and there's no changing that.

After that kiss, idk how they both survived those 7 weeks Luke was away. Then however long it was before they had their first official date. That timeline always confuses me as The Dragonfly opening was mid-end of May (Sookie's wedding anniversary), Luke's away for 7 weeks, comes home (July) but they don't have their first date until Rory goes back to Yale (August??) So did they just keep postponing that date fir over a month lol? Did they meet up and.... um....get together, but just not go on an official date first, until that night in WITS?
