I believe it was already written and filmed before she knew she wasn't coming back. So she didn't do it because of that.

See, that's kinda good to know. So, it wasn't her bitterness that drove that plot twist, it was presumably just to add a little drama to the mix of the LL relationship?

Actually she had several endings shot. Once negotiations fell through she chose the one we got. Gee I wonder why.

Pretty sure she said in an interview back then that she had several endings shot. If I spend a few hours in the wayback machine I might be able to find it. But honestly ASP isn't worth it and it won't change the ending she picked lol.

Well, I'm actually interested in hearing the truth because I've seen a lot of people claiming these things you're claiming but nothing in print or on camera is available. I wasn't around back then, so I'm just curious where all this malice towards her stems from?

why did she leave the show and not come back for the last season? I wasn't part of the on-line fandom back then and I missed all the drama.

Negotiations fell through. Here's what Amy said in an interview with Vulture magazine in 2012.

They had to do anyway when we left. They hired this big writing staff and a producer-director onstage. That's what bugged me the most. that is frustrating. they wanted her to write everything and then when they left they had to give new writers anyways.
