Rome and its weather sounds like Texas. All the Northerners love to come down here for the winter.

Anja - Moguls is downhill skiing with lots of bumps. Jars the hell out of someone’s knees.

And we already won 4 medals so far! A gold, silver and bronze for the ladies on the 3000 meters speed skating, and a silver one for shorttrack..

I do feel bad for them, though.

Congrats, Anja, on your medals! Tonight will probably be the first time I can actually watch the Olympics because I work every evening pretty much. :/

I've caught some snowboarding too. It amazes me that these athletes can do all those tricks. How do you even try that for the first time? I'd be so nervous.

I've got a friend on Facebook that posts the results each day...sometimes multiple times a day (spambox

), but it's the only place where I hear stuff about it. Never listening to the radio anyway (spotify of youtube mostly) and we don't even have a tv connection

We just watch stuff from a USB stick or discs.

We have a professional ice rink where the olympic skaters can train, or sometimes they will go abroad for training..
For recreative ice-skating, we have indoor icerinks.
