Haha yes! But I am sure it's only local and in the mountains. Overall, it's about 28 degrees and not the 1-2 degrees we have here at the moment.

No real plans, just a lot of sightseeing, hiking, whale watching and eating. Lots and lots of eating. I already know those 2 weeks are too short, but I have to be back because a new tour with the band I work with starts then.

I visited Hawaii last year (november) with my husband. We were there for 3,5 weeks. What islands are you going to visit? All of them, or? We saw all, our favorites were Kauai & Maui, because they have the most perfect mix of nature, paradise and options for dinner/excursions, etc. Oahu was nice, but we mainly saw Honolulu and some spots close to the city. Big Island was our least favorite island. We enjoyed the volcano's and the different kind of climates. You had like 11 climates on one island, lol. We never experienced any rain, it was always hot...but in a good way. I live in the Netherlands and I hate the kind of heat we get here...love the sort of heat in Hawaii. Especially evenings.

We already made plans to visit Hawaii again in 2020, 5 years after our original visit.

I am only going to Maui, but we might take a day-trip somewhere else. I have friends who have a place there, so I am visiting them.

Isn't it much more humid that it is here? I love the heat here.

When I went to Curacao the heat was a lot more pleasant then here in Holland... The humidity here is bad.. You don't think so?

I don't know. I can stand heat very well, because I'm part Indonesian. So, it's in my blood, I guess. But if you all say it's better there, I definitely believe you. Can't wait to experience it myself.

Curacao is one of my favourite places. They also have an unbelievably gorgeous synagogue. If I ever have a destination wedding that would be the place.

Just being in paradise. But definitely the whale watching. Being so much more close to nature. I just love it! I can't wait.

The Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, it's yellow and there's no floor, just sand. I'm not even a religious person but I love it.

You're going to enjoy it so much! We're going to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Antigua, Dominica and Bermuda I believe.

That's an awesome cruise. I love how you wake up some place new every day. A Caribbean cruise is definitely on my wishlist.

Hi there, everybody! OMG I'm exhausted, I've spent close to 45 min. on this board trying frantically to catch up and read everyone's posts and I'm not even halfway through it all! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the new level of activity, it's just hard for me with a full-time job and having to take care of horses & a sick mother.

Loved my trip to Hawaii but it's been since I was 8 years old and I'm 38 now, so yeah, I need to go back! We only visited Maui & Oahu but I distinctly remember those tropical flavored soft drinks, they were AWESOME!

I love the holiday season and tomorrow will be my day for wrapping most of my gifts and finishing up shopping. I think I'm just gonna say to hell with my Dad and get him a new Texas Longhorn shirt anyway.

The worst humidity I've ever experienced is in Florida! Blech, it's awful there, you breathe in moisture and your clothes just stick to your skin, it's disgusting! It can get humid here from time to time (usually when it rains) and it can get insanely hot in the summer, but NOTHING compared to the discomfort of walking around in Florida most of the year. I love visiting WDW but I am more than happy to get back to Austin, TX afterwards!
