Thanks for the link! I'm going to watch it right now because after 2 episodes, I'm SOOOOOOOOOO in a CL mood right now!
Some pics from the episodes because I found it adorable to get a glimpse of them as kids then adults. They absolutely like and know each other. It's so amazing to watch them. I love when teenage Chris is talking and convincing Lorelai about backpacking through Europe like Rory wanted too also at that age. Rory is such a mini Chris sometimes. __________________

My favorite Christopher Quality: His fun personality that is similar to Lorelai's personality which always convinces me how right they are for each other
My Favorite Christopher and Lorelai scene: Would have to be them outside of Mrs. Patty's in Presenting Lorelai Gilmore when they both said they didn't want their parents lives it just clicked to me how right for each other they are. Why do you like Chris: Despite he's made mistake he tries to make for them, and he has a love for both his daugters Rory and Gigi. He gets along well with everyone like Richard and Emily; and he has the first adult in Rory's family to get along with Logan without wanting to kill him or mention weddings to Martha's Vineyard and I really liked that as a Logan fan and it said alot about his character. Would I go out with Chris: Of course he's very sweet and romantic, especially since he has matured alot Come up with Chris's middle name: It could be Straub after his Dad. Maybe Greggory Fav Chris anecdote: The one where Lor knew about the concert tickets it was really cute |

I wish they would have been together at the end, but, well, we all know what happened. Although, it IS pretty funny to watch how much their chemistry contradicts the writing, especially in the last season. |

Awwww. That's so true. The writers are feeding us this story that they don't work and they're not meant to be, but what you see on-screen is something totally different! Every time it makes the fangirl in me want to squeeee lol. I could never muster much more than polite respect for Lorelai/Luke ...because after you've seen these two together, it's like you know THAT is how it's supposed to be when you're in love. __________________

Yeah! When they tease each other, it's like they've been together all along... and yes, they make it look sexy, too.
Their convos with each other are always witty & smart. Chris totally matches Lorelai on every level I think. __________________

L/L had no romantic chemistry. I don't know whether it was because of Scott and Lauren supposedly not liking each other or what (I had a friend tell me that rumor is true) but after they got together it felt awkward. OTOH Chris and Lorelai are best friends AND lovers and their chemistry is off the charts. I was watching "He's Slippin' Em Bread" and the way Lorelai was looking at him. They were so not over each other, even though Lorelai was supposedly marrying her soulmate. Last edited by hadthebestforgettherest; 09-02-2009 at 12:39 PM |

I think the only reason Lorelai didn't get back together with Christopher when he returned in seasons 5 and 6 was because she was dating Luke at the time, not because she had written off Chris as a possibility. Had she still been single on either of those occasions, there is no doubt in my mind that they would have ended up in bed yet again.

Yeah Lauren apparently said some not so great stuff about Scott, but who knows. I agree, Chris and Lore would have found their way back to each other, they always ended up hooking up sooner or later.
I still can't believe the ending for these two. Maybe it's fresh in my mind since I just finished S7. I mean it was obvious that Luke/Lorelai were endgame, but at the beginning of S7 I actually felt like the writers were going to give Chris and Lore a shot. At least S7 gave us some fabulous memories. C/L were really the only bright light in that season since I thought the dialogue and even the way the scenes were shot was just subpar that season. Amy and Dan's absence was pretty noticeable. (And of course the writers had to screw over both my fave couples...I was a Rory/Dean fan but Logan won me over with his wit and cuteness and the way he obviously thought the world of Rory. Sigh...) Oh well, the saving grace of DVDs is you can watch the episodes you love and pretend the ones you hate just don't exist. Last edited by hadthebestforgettherest; 09-03-2009 at 05:48 PM |
