so, this is what we know so far.

Luke is finishing filming today. Nicola end up filming around 2 weeks ago. Last weekend they had an screening of the first episode of season 2. And we are still into the unknown about when netflix will release season 2 or at least one episode as a Christmas present, not even considering the fact that we don't know (and that's the main reason of this tread) if there is going to be any polin show of affection this season (but I truly believe we'll get a kiss)

Nicola said they'll get closer, so i'm expecting some friendship moments

I personally don't see anything romantic happening till S4. We have to wait just like Penelope

can you imagine that we will have to wait at least 3 years to see them kiss for the first time???!!!

and i want to believe that she said the'll get closer because she can't say what's actually happening (a girl can dream right? )

the books are different because it's one main character dealing with his story, siblings are secondary, except Colin, who is involved in almost every brother love story, and Penelope, who is the only love interest that shows up in every book (before marriage). which means:
-First, you can't do that on TV.
-Second, they need to mix their story.
- third, it doesn't matter what I think they can take all the licenses they wont as it's their show not us

anyway, we have this conversation before, you are probably right and I am wrong, but after being proved wrong, I'll be hoping we'll get something more than what we had in Season 1.

Yeah, I think each season is going to be dedicated to each couple, like it is in the books

you are probably right, but last season we had, Anthony with Siena, Benedict with madame Lacroix and some partying and panting that never happened in the books, Colin with Marina, Eloise being a Regency feminist, Penelope shown as Lady Wistheldown, her sister with Nigel...

I don't think I am missing anything important, but my point is, a lot of things were shown that are not from Bridgerton Book 1 or about Daphne

That's true. JQ gave over full control to Shondaland so it won't be exactly like the books, in a sense but each season will cover the respective couples.

they probably will have more content/developtment than in the books, but imo real romantic moments should happen in their season so the other couples have the chance to shine in their respective seasons

we just have to be veryyy patient
