She looks better as a blonde than a redhead, imo. Did Penelope have red hair in the book? I can't remember.

As far as I can remember all Featherington's are redheaded. it was like a family thing. I might be wrong.

In my mind she was slightly thinner to, kind of how she looked in Derry's, but I don't think they are going to change that about the actress, I think they left it at Nicola's choice.

i am not the biggest fan of Shonda as a showrunner, but she is always trying to show many different realities through her characters that i can't see her asking anyone to get fatter or thinner, because that would be agains his usual being. You just need to watch one Episode of Grey's to know what I mean.

So i think that that goes only in Nicola's, but maybe i am wrong. I think she is smart and funny and intelligent in Brigerton's and in Derry's and pretty in any shape, and I don't care about how she looks. One of the worst things I've seen in journalism lately was when one define her as the fat girl in Bridgerton's, I don't think I've read something as mean as that in a long time, she was awesome at her reply though. but that's I different issue.

I think they are trying to show her uglier, not changing anything ridiculous in a Ugly Betty character physical transformation way, but just only putting on as less make up as possible on her, and with all the lightings and stuff they need to record a scene, that makes her look uglier than she is, as make up for camera recording is heavy. She, at least for me, she is one of the most precious faces in the whole bridgerton's female cast. and you just need to check her instagram to see that she is pretty with or without make up.

I totally agree, she's super pretty. By the time we get to season 4 i'm sure she'll have better make up, clothes and wig

You're right, the wig didn't fit her well and hopefully it's better when her season comes around, I hope Colin becomes like book Colin- boyish sarcastic.
