Yeah I think you're right that their little moment last episode was the end but just not explicitly stated.

Omg yeah I kept thinking back to Ozai and Zuko there as well. Imagine being ready to kill your own child

He's awful.

They do! For a show with lots of great female characters they get the short end of the stick sometimes

I liked when she told her father that her mother wouldn't like what he'd become. That definitely makes it seem like her mother was nicer.

I like that Asami is trying to save Future Industries like the powerful businesswoman she is

It seemed to really appeal to Varrick so yeah I guess it worked!

It's very mature of her to want to try to save the company and not just sell it or something and make someone else deal with that.
