I think Funimation has up to episode 16 or 17 dubbed? Or if not Crunchyroll has it all subbed.

She was scared of him, and admitted it, but she didn’t abandon him. There was acceptance

And...yeah even if Akito is given some tragic backstory, I’m not going to care. What a miserable soul.

Just their family isn't the best especially their mother. But I don't feel sorry at all.

I did do a rewatch of S1 but this time I watched it all dubbed. It was nice to know what they were saying this time around

I was able to see all of season 2 now! I really do love the show

So many complex characters and motivations

I watched season 1 when I was younger, I did start season 2 but I couldn't get through it. It didn't have the same feel as when I was younger. I'm thinking of rewatching season 1 and then seeing if I can get into season 2.

I haven't watched the original version, but the newer one which I thought was very well done

I would recommend giving it a try.
