Will There Be a Fruits Basket Season 4 Release Date & Is It Coming Out

Based on the namesake manga series (1998-2006) written and illustrated by Natsuki Takaya, Fruits Basket is a fantasy romance anime TV show. The plot revolves around Tohru Honda, an orphaned teenager, whose encounter with the members of the Sohma family changes the course of destiny for everyone involved. Tohru soon learns that certain Sohmas are born with the Zodiac curse. They are possessed by one of the 13 Chinese Zodiac animals and transform into that animal whenever they are experiencing extreme emotions or are embraced by someone from the opposite sex. In the course of the series, Tohru, empowered by her infinite patience and love, helps these troubled individuals find peace and happiness.

Takaya’s manga was previously adapted into an anime series of the same name in 2001. The first season of the newer show premiered on April 6, 2019, the second season on April 7, 2020, and the third season on April 6, 2021.
