I was one of those people that always said what the hell are you talking about!? When people said they shipped DB.

I have never shipped a couple in my life that has not at least gotten together at some point or had sex or something.

So I was never really impressed wit their scenes before s4 happened. But now, when I re-watch their earlier interactions, I can see what people were talking about. Maybe I was too caught up in CB to notice.

I always ship the doomed couples.

I think like two of my ships ever, has turned out. So to even get DB in some form in S4 was a nice surprise and to get this far was just brilliant.

I have plenty of couples that didn't end up together. My icon is a good indicator.

Then there is Brooke/Lucas... Well CE got an open ending in a way, so it's okay.

Oh I can sympathize SO MUCH about shipping the doomed couples. That's pretty much all I know, except RHr. That one must have been a fluke.

But I never would've expected so much to come from DB.

Admittedly pre-S4 they weren't even on my radar.

I too, am a viewer of the doomed ships. We seem to gather here, I wonder if fate is giving us another chance at a happy ending?

I have to say, if things don't work out, that the last scene with Blair in the loft saying Dan's name over and over again as they kissed is how I will always view the series as ending...

course, if they do wind up together, well, then, I'll have plenty more awesome material to gush about

It was just a perfect, flawless moment.
