^ Play.com is a godsend. I'm raging that its USA site closed down because that was where I got a lot of Region 1 DVDs at a cheap price.

They should release the complete series set in the States already so I'll know it's going to be released here.

I don't wanna watch online, downloading was SO much faster than waiting for the episodes to load

Why not? It's like watching YouTube.

I couldn't buy the DVDs from WalMart or Amazon though, even if I wanted to, cause my mom loves ER as well, and those are not subtitled

YouTube videos hiccup on me every 10 seconds due to my slow, but expensive connection. It takes an hour for me to load an episode.

Luckily my mom understands English. She actually HATES subs on English stuff.

I watch some things online, but there are times when you just want the ease of a DVD.

^Yeah. And you know, it's so awesome to have some shows or movies you really like on DVD. Somehow it's so great to be able to hold it in your hands, have a collection on your shelf, you know what I mean?

^ Definitely, especially when the studios really put in the effort with the packaging. I remember when Charmed ended I wanted to buy all the DVDs but I waited a while and soon the studio brought out this GORGEOUS wooden treasure chest holding all 8 seasons within. The chest was lined in this gorgeous fabric and it came with a scroll (wrapped in ribbon) explaining which number it was out of a very limited edition. Amazing. It was expensive of course, but it wound up costing less than I would have spent if I had bought all the seasons on DVD individually.

Which is why I'll wait for a complete boxset of ER so I can save up.

I hope you don't get the cheap re-released sets that Warner Bros. have brought out here. I'm so glad I was able to get S1-6 while the old editions were on the shelves.
