Nick recognized the beinning of yet another curious mystery that he would be swept-up in.

"Hello," he answered, "Nick here; 'sup?" Looking around the hall, he eyed something that nearly made him choke. Right there in the middle of the corridor was the largest, pink flamingo, strutting around like it owned the place. It had never been Nick's habit to be nasty to peoples pets or to their children, however, this was beyond the scope of his practice.
