So much good stuff especially in the second half! ALSO...the fact that he broke Carson OUT OF PRISON for her. And he also drank fake poison for her. And he was the one who was there when she learned her parentage.






















ETA: It's also interesting to me personally how closely tied Ace is with Nancy's Hudson lineage:

- He was with her when she learned her true parentage
- He encouraged her to talk to Ryan about the ritual in 1x17 and then helped her perform it when she couldn't continue.
- All their angst in 2x01 / meeting with Everett
- Encouraged Nancy to make-up with Carson because of the Hudson parentage twist in 2x02
- Tempe's name came up during the whole wedding dress fiasco, specifically in his scene with Ryan (and Bess)
- He was the only one who noticed she was different because of the Wraith: Temperance Hudson's monster
- And he was the one who held her hand when she was getting rid of the Wraith.
- Called out Tempe for being Myrtle in 3x01
- The scene in 3x05 when Nancy was joking about Tempe taking more of her blood
- All the stuff with the liminal space and how Temperance was a big part in rescuing him and Hannah
- All the Lev stuff pushed him to confess his feelings
- He had the fourth piece of Charity's soul, Temperance Hudson's daughter
- The hallucination Tempe gave Nancy regarding her and Ace
- And him and Nancy were cursed BY Temperance Hudson
- He's also pretty close with Ryan HUDSON and even dated Ryan's sisster-in-law.

He really does so much for her And he's always there for her, which is so sweet.

I also always loved how he tried to help her hide the Hudson thing from everyone else when she wasn't ready for them all to know yet.

I hadn't realized just how tied he is to the Hudson stuff. But that's been a thread linking a lot of their moments.

I think that was a very conscious decision on their part. Ace does mean a lot to Nancy, no matter who else the writers try to pair her with.

But seriously…they are the best and I don’t understand why the writers try to keep wasting my time when this is most likely the last season and it’s only 13 episodes.

Yeah the most logical thing would be to break the curse ASAP and let them be happy together for the rest of the season. They've been building toward it and its what the fans want. But ofc the writers aren't going to do that.

All I wanted was to see them be together as a couple solving mysteries. I didn't need all of this drama and angst. It's tedious already!

Also, I just finished watching Stargirl and Cameron/Courtney finally kissed and they were a super slow burn couple...although I don't know if I'd quality if it as slow burn...more like start stop start stop start stop burn. But still...they were moving at a glacial pace and now it's finally happening. Yet another couple before Nace.
